Now that the new After Everything teaser trailer has come out, a lot of people are complaining that they changed a lot from the books and now the movie's gonna be bad. But here's what I think: you need to see the books and the movies as two different universes. Two different versions of Hessa. That'll help you to enjoy the movies and the books alike. Even if they change a lot from the books and maybe, even turn the ending of the movie with something completely different from the books, you need to learn to accept it as it is (only if the new version is also good, obviously) instead of complaining about the film being bad because it's different from the books.
The ending of the AEH book fast forwards to different timelines and tells about some stuff happening during each timeline. If the After Everything movie turns out to show some stuff that wasn't there in the books, you can just consider it to happen in between those timeline jumps. But yeah, I do hope the ending turns out to be the same as the books. No worries even if it isn't the same, as long as it's good.
What do you guys think?
