Christian Vance is fictional character of the After novel series written by Anna Todd. He is the biological father of protagonist Hardin Scott.
Christian Vance is portrayed by Charlie Weber in the film, After We Collided.
Biography
He is British. He is the owner of Vance Publishing. He met Hardin's parents (called Ken and Trish) while they were in college and they became friends. But he had an affair with Hardin's mother and turned out to be Hardin’s biological father. But that is discovered at the end of the third book. When Hardin was 8 years, after Ken got drunk and had a fight with some drunks in a bar, these drunks rape Trish and she and Hardin move in for a year with Vance. Well ... later Hardin's story continues and he goes to university. In the university, he meets Tessa and they fall in love (this happens in the first film already made). Tessa wants to dedicate herself to the world of literature and Hardin and Ken recommend her in the Vance publishing house. Tessa becomes friends with Vance's girlfriend (called Kimberly) who is the secretary of the publishing house. Vance also has a son called Smith from his ex-wife (Rose) who died.
